Marc Secoy

Guitarist and songwriter Marc Secoy has made music an integral part of his life starting in the 5th grade when he began playing clarinet.  After picking up the guitar for the first time in 1996 Marc was determined to learn how to play and from then on it became his instrument of choice.  At the age of sixteen he had his first gig and has since been in numerous bands, with Mays Gone being the first all-original project.  Marc was intrigued by the sounds of classic rock which helped build his style of playing and songwriting.  He takes pride in his efforts to write and produce songs that are meaningful to him but also connect with fans.  In order to better craft his song ideas and enhance his skills for running live sound, Marc attended “The Recording Workshop, School of Audio and Music Production”.  While also focusing heavily on music, he managed to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology from Miami University (OH).  Influenced by Metallica, Bruce Springsteen, Nine Inch Nails, and Mute Math, Marc continues to improve on his musical abilities and hopes that his hard work and dedication will help Mays Gone be heard.
